Al-Turath University advanced its applied learning philosophy by organizing the practical exam for students of the Design Department at the College of Fine Arts in an open-air setting within the university campus, specifically around the Al-Turath Palace, which includes key facilities such as the cafeteria and upper-level conference and event halls.
The University aligned this initiative with the vision led by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Ali Al-Ogaili, emphasizing the importance of moving beyond traditional classroom settings toward interactive environments that connect design education with real-world spatial experiences.
Al-Turath highlighted that this approach provided students with the opportunity to engage directly with environmental elements such as light, space, and structure, enhancing their visual analysis and creative thinking skills through practical and immersive experience.
The University stressed that utilizing the Al-Turath Palace as an academic space reflects a strategic integration between infrastructure and education, transforming architectural spaces into dynamic learning tools that support artistic experimentation and innovation.
Al-Turath asserted that such initiatives strengthen its commitment to modern art education by integrating theory with practice and fostering a creative environment that empowers students to innovate and excel.
