Activities for Women Empowerment in 2021

The college council board discussed the annual women’s empowerment report and the performance of the Women Empowerment Center, in addition to ways for further development. The report included the following points:
Increase in Women’s Leadership Positions
The number of female department heads increased to 10 out of 22 departments.
Appointment of 13 female department secretaries.
Appointment of 5 female directors in administrative departments, including the Scholarship Department and the Scientific Research Department.
Women Empowerment Activities
A total of 34 seminars on women's empowerment were held at the university in 2021.
Employee Rights
17 female employees were granted maternity leave in accordance with Law No. 25 of 1960, amended in 2017 by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Support for Working Mothers
$2,000 was allocated to renovate the university’s kindergarten and nursery to help employees balance work and childcare.
This report reflects the college’s ongoing efforts to enhance the role of women and empower them in various fields.

The college council board discussed the annual women’s empowerment report and the performance of the Women Empowerment Center, in addition to ways for further development. The report included the following points:
Increase in Women’s Leadership Positions
The number of women in leadership and administrative positions has continued to rise in recent years.
In 2022, the number of female department heads and deans reached 12, in addition to 13 female department secretaries out of 24 departments.
Leadership Roles in University Centers and Departments
Five women have taken leadership positions in university centers and departments, including the Scientific Research Department, IT Department, and Media Department.
Women Empowerment Activities
A total of 32 seminars on women's empowerment were held at the university in 2022.
Employee Rights
21 female employees were granted maternity leave in accordance with Law No. 25 of 1960, amended in 2017 by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
