Application regulations for non-Iraqi students

According to the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research – Republic of Iraq.

General Conditions

  1. Submission Preparatory school certificate or its equivalent recognized in Iraq, ratified by the Ministries of Education and Foreign Affairs in the student's country, and endorsed by the Iraqi diplomatic mission if available — according to the admission requirements for each specialization.
  2. Degree Equivalency with the Iraqi Ministry of Education, and adherence to the regulations stated in the student affairs guide and admission instructions for private colleges.
  3. Commencing studies within the specified period from the start of the academic year, otherwise acceptance will be considered void.
  4. Submission Medical certificate recent, proving the student is free from infectious diseases, along with vaccination certificates against smallpox, typhoid, and COVID-19.
  5. Filling out Electronic admission application form and attaching the required documents.
  6. The student must be dedicated to study — Combining employment and study is not permitted.
  7. After acceptance, the Ministry issues Official ministerial ordersBased on this, the University issues its decisions with the names of accepted students after ratification by the University Council.

Scholarships and Financial Aid

  • Receives The Distinguished Student Receives the free scholarship + monthly financial assistance that includes accommodation, living expenses, and travel.
  • The scholarship is transferred from Half Scholarship To Full Scholarship If the student completes the first academic year with distinction.
  • The student is on Half Scholarship Commits to paying dues in four installments during the academic year.
  • The student is on Full Scholarship (100%) Exempted from all tuition fees throughout the study period, provided that the minimum average is met.
