Goals

  • To enhance communication and cooperation with publishing houses, research centers, and local, Arab, and international libraries to keep abreast of the latest scientific and knowledge publications.
  • To continuously supply the library with the latest information sources, meeting user needs and ensuring the diversity of scientific and knowledge materials.
  • To qualify and develop library staff through specialized training programs, enhancing their efficiency in providing modern library services.
  • To develop library management systems in line with global advancements in information and library services.
  • To establish an integrated digital and virtual library, adopting the latest technological techniques and applications to facilitate research procedures and services for users.

The world continues to witness developments, some anticipated and others exceeding expectations. Among these developments is the emergence of digital or electronic libraries, freely available via the internet, which have become a haven for school, university, and postgraduate students, as well as scientists, thinkers, and researchers. This is attributed to the ease of accessing information, the speed of research completion, and the simplicity of acquiring general knowledge and personal enrichment.
