Al-Turath University continued to strengthen its position as a leading educational institution in integrating advanced technologies into creative disciplines, the Department of Interior Design at the College of Fine Arts enables students to move beyond traditional digital design by utilizing 3ds Max and Unreal Engine to create architectural and interior design models and transform them into immersive environments that can be explored through Virtual Reality (VR) technologies.
These capabilities reflect the vision of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Ali Al-Ogaili, to establish a smart educational environment equipped with the latest digital tools and technologies that foster innovation, creativity, and professional excellence.
Commenting on this initiative, the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Dr. Hussein Alaa Radi, emphasized that integrating virtual reality technologies and interactive design engines into the learning process represents a major advancement in preparing students for professional practice, as well as these technologies allow students to experience and evaluate their projects in realistic environments before implementation, enhancing their readiness for both local and international labor markets.
