Under the patronage and direction of Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Ali Al-Ogaili, and within an institutional vision that seeks to build a university future not confined by geography or limited by conventional forms of cooperation, Al-Turath University signed during an official visit to the United Kingdom a Letter of Intent with the University of Wolverhampton to develop programs in transnational education, alongside a memorandum for academic and research cooperation, in a step that reflects the University's shift from symbolic international presence toward partnerships capable of generating direct academic value for its students and researchers.
This step is centered on the development of undergraduate and master's level programs in ways that prepare for more mature international educational opportunities aligned with the required academic and regulatory standards, while also expanding cooperation in scientific research, capacity building, academic exchange, and quality pathways, giving the partnership a practical substance that goes beyond protocol agreements and turns it into an implementable project that connects knowledge with application and brings Iraqi students closer to more open, competitive, and future-oriented educational environments.
