Under the patronage of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Ali Al-Ogaili and in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Al-Turath University organized a workshop entitled (International Cooperation with Academic Institutions in the European Union: Erasmus+ as a Model), as well as the event brought together a wide participation of faculty members, students, and administrative staff.
The workshop aimed at introducing participants to EU-funded postgraduate study opportunities, enhancing the capabilities of faculty members and administrative staff in academic and research collaboration and aligning institutional development with the frameworks of modern international education programs.
For his side, President of Al-Turath University, Prof. Dr. Jaafar Jaber Jawad welcomed this initiative, emphasizing the importance of such programs in developing academic performance and improving educational and research outcomes, as well as affirming the university’s commitment to build strong partnerships with reputable European universities and institutions.
Meanwhile, the delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research praised the remarkable progress achieved by Al-Turath University, affirming that it rightfully deserves its distinguished reputation thanks to the visionary leadership of Mr. Ali Al-Ogaili and the dedicated efforts of its academic and administrative teams in advancing excellence in higher education and research.
