During official visit that reflected the depth of European interest in the Iraqi educational experience, Al-Turath University, represented by its President, Asst Prof. Dr. Omar Saad, received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain, who expressed her desire to learn about the most prominent universities in Iraq and the Middle East, she chose Al-Turath University as a model for academic development and modern infrastructure.
For her part, the Ambassador expressed her great admiration for the university's achievements during the visit and praised its remarkable progress in the fields of education, twinning, and openness to international universities, she emphasized that what Al-Turath University offers today is a direct reflection of the vision of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Ali Al-Ogaili, to build a scientific edifice capable of competing regionally and internationally.
AL-Turath reviewed that the two sides highlighted ways to open prospects for joint cooperation between Al-Turath University and established universities in the Kingdom of Spain, including:
Establishing bilateral academic programs.
Exchanging faculty members and students.
Cooperation in establishing an aviation academy with a specialized international character.
The university demonstrated that this step comes as part of Al-Turath University's efforts to consolidate its position as one of the most open and interactive universities with international initiatives, by attracting expertise and building knowledge bridges with higher education institutions around the world.
It is worth to be mentioned that the meeting were attended by Dr. Salah Hassan Kazim Al-Ansari, CEO of ASPACTIC Engineering, a company specializing in engineering projects, academic services, and training, ASPACTIC Engineering is headquartered in Madrid and has an active branch in Baghdad.For his part, Dr. Al-Ansari emphasized the importance of these partnerships in transferring qualitative expertise and enhancing engineering, technical and vocational education in Iraq, in line with European quality standards.
