Al-Turath University Council held its monthly session, chaired by President of the University, Asst Prof. Dr. Omar Saad Ahmed and attended by Scientific Assistant, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdul Jalil and a number of college deans, this session aims at monitoring academic and administrative progress at the university level.
The meeting reviewed extensive discussion on several vital issues, most notably student affairs and the requirements of the next phase, it also discussed developments in appointments, academic leave, and academic promotion mechanisms, which will enhance the university work environment and improve the quality of institutional performance.

The meeting concluded with the importance of continuing coordination between the university presidency and the college deanships to ensure the effectiveness of administrative decisions and keep pace with changes in the higher education system, serving both students and the university environment.
