Al-Turath University held a meeting between the Cultural Attaché of the British Embassy and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Ali Al-Ujaili.
During the meeting, the two parties discussed Al-Turath University's keenness on academic and cultural exchange and twinning with prestigious British universities.
Al-Uqaili affirmed the University's commitment to established scientific principles and standards, which allowed it to be the first private university in Iraq to sign a partnership agreement with the United Nations, in addition to signing a joint work agreement with UNESCO, as well as joining the International Association of Universities.

They also discussed that Al-Turath University seeks to enhance cooperation with British universities by negotiating with the Cultural Attaché of the British Embassy regarding all avenues of cooperation and scientific partnerships between both parties.
For his part, the Cultural Attaché of the Embassy expressed his pleasure in cooperating with Al-Turath University, expressing his admiration for the correct steps taken to consolidate scientific and cultural knowledge among the University's students. He also praised Al-Turath University's efforts in providing opportunities for scientific and applied communication.
