In collaboration with NGOs and health authorities, the College of Dentistry, Al-Turath University launched the annual initiative to provide free dental care to residents of the region, under the supervision of expert faculty members, fourth- and fifth-year students volunteer to perform preventive and restorative dental treatment, as well as ensuring patients receive high-quality, free healthcare to meet their basic needs.
The university reviewed that this initiative increases access to healthcare for underserved groups and provides students with clinical experience through engaging students in volunteer healthcare services.
Al-Turath University collaborated with local and international organizations to address community health needs, support Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and promote a culture of social responsibility and applied learning, through this program, Al-Turath University reinforces its commitment to health, education, and community service.
