Al-Turath University achieved second place in the Iraqi Universities Track and Field Championship, organized and sponsored by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, hosted at the University of Baghdad, College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, with participation from more than 60 public and private universities across Iraq.
The University lined up this achievement with the vision led by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Ali Al-Ogaili, which emphasizes building well-rounded students by supporting sports activities alongside academic pathways.
Al-Turath highlighted that its students demonstrated strong performance across various events, reflecting high levels of preparation and competitiveness within a challenging national environment that showcases the development of university sports in Iraq.
The University affirmed that this accomplishment reinforces its position as a comprehensive academic institution committed to excellence across multiple domains and to preparing students capable of achieving success both academically and athletically.
