Al-Turath University introduced a foundational academic entry into the world of programming through a lecture focused on the basics of (C++) programming, one of the core languages used in modern systems and application development, the session marked a starting point for understanding programming logic and computational thinking.
The first lecture covered how to build a simple program step by step, beginning with understanding program structure and progressing to a basic practical task, printing a name or a sentence, as well as simplifying concepts and transforming them into applicable skills.
The University reviewed that such foundational lectures play a crucial role in building strong academic knowledge and enhancing students’ ability to move from theoretical understanding to practical application in line with rapid technological advancements.
It is worth to be mentioning that this stage also represents the beginning of developing a programming mindset based on logic and analysis, where students realize that every complex system starts with a simple line of code, and mastering the basics is the true path toward professional excellence in computer science.
