Al-Turath University reviewed an in-depth academic perspective on water as a public health priority and a quality-of-life standard when the Continuing Education Center, in cooperation with the College of Pharmacy, organized a specialized lecture entitled (Natural and Industrial Water Sources and Methods of Recycling and Purification), the session connected theoretical knowledge with practical laboratory demonstration within a structured academic environment.
Dr. Afaq Mahdi Ali reviewed the classification of water according to its sources and diverse applications in drinking, industry, and agriculture, as well as demonstrating the distinctions between natural and treated water and discussed modern recycling and purification techniques adopted within health and environmental systems{{dot}} The University reviewed that the event included a practical demonstration analyzing samples from different water sources, participants observed types of impurities, sediments, and microorganisms present in tap water, strengthening applied understanding of safety and quality standards through direct observation and analytical evaluation.
Al-Turath University affirmed that the attendance and scientific contributions of most faculty members from the College of Pharmacy added depth to the discussion, transforming the lecture into an academic dialogue that reflects a culture of knowledge exchange and health awareness.
