In a vibrant Ramadan evening following Iftar, Al-Turath University hosted a series of diverse student sports activities that embodied responsible competition and teamwork, students organized multiple events including football, basketball, and other athletic games within an atmosphere that blended enthusiasm with discipline, giving the campus a distinctive and energetic spirit throughout the holy month.
Al-Turath University clarified that these activities are held under the patronage of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Ali Al-Ogaili, who emphasizes that sports are an essential component in shaping the university student’s character, when the University supports athletics, it supports health, morale, and provides students with space to express their abilities and refine their skills within an environment rooted in values and a culture of cooperation.
The University further reviewed that the diversity of sports reflects a conscious student initiative that views athletics as an extension of learning, reinforcing commitment, respect for rules, and psychological and physical balance, as well as strengthening bonds among students and transforms competition into a positive platform for connection.
Al-Turath University affirmed that Ramadan nights on campus extend beyond social gatherings to become dynamic spaces where spiritual ambiance meets athletic vitality, enhancing belonging, renewing student energy, and enriching the overall university experience.
