In implementation of the aspirations and directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding the importance for Iraqi universities to obtain grants funded by the European Union in general and the Erasmus program in particular, and Al-Turath University's strategic plan in the field of internationalization, adopted by the Department of Missions and Cultural Relations under the direct supervision of the esteemed Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Professor Ali Al-Uqaili, Al-Turath University hosted this training course from 27/12/2025 to 29/12/2025 in cooperation with the Department of Missions and Cultural Relations and the European Union Mission at Al-Turath Palace. This training course aims to teach how to write successful, comprehensive project proposals to be submitted to the European Union, the importance of technical integration of proposals, and effective participation between local universities and finding participating universities from EU countries to develop and build the capacities of faculty members and institutions in a way that serves and aligns with the vision and methodology of each university. In this context, the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs directed the Erasmus program liaison members at our University to hold special workshops for university professors and students after this course to spread the culture of internationalization among all university formations and achieve the desired benefit from these grants provided by the European Union.
