The faculty member at the College of Dentistry, Al-Turath University, Prof. Dr. Waseem Ali Hassan participated in the discussion committee for the board thesis submitted to Iraqi Board for Medical Specialties by student, Ms. Sara Hussein Othman, specializing in clinical pharmacy.
Prof. Dr. Waseem Ali Hassan added that the thesis addressed a scientific study entitled "Microbiological Epidemiology of Feverish Neutropenia in Patients with Acute Leukemia: A Unified-Central Study in Iraq”, as well as highlighting the clinical and laboratory aspects of a common and dangerous condition among leukemia patients, reflecting the importance of this research at both the academic and healthcare levels.
He reviewed that the discussion took place in the hall of the Iraqi Board for Medical Specialties, attended by a number of faculty members and specialists.
