Under the direction of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Ali Al-Ukaili, Al-Turath University sent a delegation to UNESCO in Paris to sign a joint work agreement between the organization and the University regarding the development of academic and research aspects at Al-Turath University, as part of the University's plan to be part of the international university community.
The agreement included approvals for employing professors from French universities to give lectures and conduct academic workshops at Al-Turath University. In addition, the agreement included approvals for sending a group of students to France for academic immersion in the same specializations at highly-ranked French universities.
Al-Turath University's membership in the International Association of Universities was completed by fulfilling the requirements that qualify Al-Turath University to be a pioneer and a leader in forming relationships with universities in the European Union.
