The Chairman of the Founding Committee and President of Al-Turath University, Professor Dr. Jaafar Jabbar Jawad, received the Turkish Ambassador to Iraq, Ali Reza Günay.
During the meeting, cooperation was agreed upon in the field of education and technological development in information technology, scientific laboratories, modern medical devices, and providing Al-Turath University with all modern scientific means, technologies, and equipment.
Scientific expertise exchange was also discussed by opening horizons for joint cooperation between reputable Turkish universities and Al-Turath University, which the founding body always emphasizes, that Al-Turath University will remain at the forefront of universities in terms of sciences and raising the level of scientific excellence for the College's students.

Ambassador Ali Reza affirmed his admiration for the constructive approach that distinguishes Al-Turath University scholars through scientific laboratories, modern and advanced classrooms, smart electronic screens, and vast green spaces.

The two parties highlighted the relationship with Turkish universities, which will begin this year, affirming that the Turkish Embassy will work to strengthen relations between prestigious Turkish universities and the President of Al-Turath University.

At the end of the meeting, Ambassador Ali Reza thanked the efforts made by the founding body, the University presidency, the professors, and all staff of Al-Turath University for this great scientific achievement that Iraq has achieved in the current stage.
