Al-Turath University Leadership Advances Academic Dialogue on Autism & ADHD Research at College of Education

Al-Turath University strengthened its applied research environment as the university leadership participated in a scientific discussion session for students of the Educational and Psychological Sciences Department at the College of Education, attended by the President, Prof. Dr. Jaafar Jaber Jawad, and the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Haider Sabah Kadhim, along with the Dean of the College of Education, Prof. Dr. Naz Barkhan Abdullah.

The University reviewed this initiative with the vision led by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Ali Al-Ogaili, emphasizing the importance of fostering research culture among students and linking academic topics to real societal challenges.

Al-Turath highlighted that students Sami Naji, Sumaya Mohammed, and Huraa Baqir presented scientific research addressing Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), under the supervision of Dr. Yusra Turki Saeed and Asst{{dot}} Lecturer Noor Nemat, demonstrating a high level of analytical and methodological rigor.

The University emphasized that the President praised the students’ academic performance, highlighting the importance of these research topics in educational and psychological sciences and their role in addressing behavioral and learning challenges within society.

Al-Turath asserted that such academic engagements reinforce a dynamic learning environment that promotes critical thinking, research excellence, and meaningful societal impact.
