Al-Turath University expressed its role in promoting sustainable economic concepts through a specialized lecture organized by the Continuing Education Center in collaboration with the College of Administration and Economics, entitled (Green Marketing and the Role of Renewable Energy in Building Sustainable Competitive Advantage).
The University aligned this initiative with the vision led by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Ali Al-Ogaili, which emphasizes integrating sustainability concepts into academic programs and preparing students to understand economic transformations driven by clean energy and environmental innovation.
Al-Turath highlighted that the lecture was delivered by Asst{{dot}} Lecturer Nabaa Lateef, who explored the concept of green marketing, its significance in enhancing competitiveness, and recent trends in environmentally friendly industries, the session included global examples such as Tesla and Google, along with applications of solar energy in electricity generation.
The University emphasized that the lecture attracted strong participation from faculty members and a large number of students, reflecting growing academic interest in the green economy as a future-oriented field and enhancing awareness of sustainable production and consumption models.
Al-Turath affirmed that such initiatives contribute to building an academic model that connects economic knowledge with environmental application, equipping students with the ability to understand global transitions and develop innovative solutions for sustainable economic development.
