Al-Turath University presented a practical approach to strengthening academic governance as the Continuing Education Center, in cooperation with the College of Dentistry, organized a specialized lecture in Hall (1), the lecture addressed innovative mechanisms for electronically registering student attendance in a way that enhances discipline, saves time, and provides faculty members with more precise monitoring tools.
The lecture was delivered by Assist{{dot}} Lecturer Ahmed Abdul Kareem entitled title (An Innovative Method for Registering Student Attendance) on a fast digital system that registers attendance through the smart board, displaying each student’s name and photo, identifying absent students, calculating individual absence percentages, and integrating the registering of quiz and monthly examination grades within a unified digital framework.
Al-Turath University reviewed that this model supports a culture of digital transformation inside the classroom and makes attendance tracking and assessment part of a more transparent and efficient educational system, reducing errors while reinforcing fairness and accuracy in data documentation.
The lecture was attended by a number of faculty members from various scientific departments, reflecting a shared institutional interest in advancing teaching tools and improving classroom management through practical and implementable solutions.
The University concluded that such initiatives represent an ongoing pathway toward modernizing academic practices and exchanging expertise, thereby reinforcing a more efficient and technologically responsive learning environment.
