Al-Turath University participated in the sixth session of the Private Higher Education Council, held at Al-Zahraa University in the holy city of Karbala, with the presence of the Undersecretary and senior officials from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, along with presidents and representatives of private universities and colleges across Iraq.
The University reviewed that the session addressed several key issues related to the development of private higher education, particularly admission mechanisms in private universities and colleges, aiming to facilitate application procedures for students and reduce the time required for admission processes in line with current administrative and academic needs.
Participants also discussed the status of medical colleges within private universities and the progress achieved in this field, emphasizing the importance of supporting and further developing this academic experience to enhance the quality of medical education in Iraq.
The meeting further included discussions on a range of additional topics related to the advancement of private higher education and mechanisms for its development in line with rapid scientific and academic progress, contributing to strengthening the quality of higher education outcomes.
