Based on the recommendations of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Ali Al-Ogili, and as part of the efforts of Al-Turath University, represented by its President, Asst Prof. Dr. Omar Saad, to support digital transformation programs and harness academic expertise to serve state institutions, the Ministry of Construction, Housing, and Public Municipalities launched a specialized training program in artificial intelligence and data automation, the program is under the direct supervision of the faculty member in the Artificial Intelligence Department at Al-Turath University, Consultant Dr. Qais Yahya Hatem Al-Khazraji.
The launch of this program was based on the approval of His Excellency, the Minister of Construction and Housing and is in line with the higher national directives aimed at accelerating the pace of digital transformation in state institutions, it aims at qualifying the Ministry's cadres in the fields of artificial intelligence and smart data analysis.
The program officially launches on August 5, 2025, and continues until August 4, 2026, it includes weekly four-hour training workshops every Thursday, covering advanced applied topics, most notably:
Modern concepts in artificial intelligence
Smart algorithms and their applications in management
Data automation and building intelligent systems
• Using artificial intelligence in the government work environment
This unique collaboration embodies Al-Turath University's leadership in advanced digital fields and reflects its serious commitment to linking its academic outputs to the needs of the state and activating the role of academics in building knowledge- and technology-based institutions.
