Al-Turath University participates in the training and arbitration courses for physical strength under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education.

Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and in cooperation with the Iraqi Federation for Powerlifting, participated Al-Turath University in the two courses training and arbitration for powerlifting, which were held with the participation and supervision of international lecturers.

The University was represented in this event by Professor Ali Al-Imara, Director of the Student Activities Department, andProfessor Sajjad Adi Kadhim, Head of the Sports Division, in addition to the participation of 60 universities from across Iraq.

At the conclusion of the two courses, were distributed Certificates of Participation by the organizing committee, emphasizing the efforts made in developing participants' skills and enhancing the presence of Iraqi universities in sports events.
