Al-Turath University won fourth place for best research in the Warith Al-Anbiya National Award for Research Excellence.

The award is organized annually to support scientific institutions and elevate Iraq's name in global rankings and databases through distinguished and robust research that meets the highest specifications of scientific and academic quality. The research of student Marwa was published in H-index, Scopus, and Google Scholar, in addition to her owning a patent registered with the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control, specializing in the field of wastewater treatment for oil refineries, and her selection as a scientific reviewer for several journals of Elsevier publishing house.Al-Turath University May 8, 2024
