Al-Turath’s Trustees Board Chairman Meets UNFPA’s Representative
During a meeting with representative of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), Dr. Rita Columbia, Chairman of Board of Trustees of Al-Turath University, Mr. Ali Al-Ogaili emphasized the importance of Al-Turath University's effective cooperation with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and their commitment to contribute in the development of sustainable development goal policies at the national and regional levels, they also reviewed developments in higher education, serious scientific research and the exchange of expertise.
Al-Turath demonstrated that the cooperation aims at facilitating scientific innovations among its students and supporting low-income students through available scholarships.It is worth to be mentioned that the collaboration aligns with the objectives of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), as well as Al-Turath University plays a pivotal role in formulating policies and strategies that address key challenges, particularly in the fields of human development and education to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
