The Dental Technology Department seeks to be the leader and very advanced in accordance with international standards among the colleges of Dental Technology in the peer public and private universities and to be distinguished and known to all governmental and private institutions for its scientific and international solidity and its distinguished education and scientific research leading to the advancement of knowledge and community service via providing an efficient group and distinguished graduates of our Department.

Message

The mission of the Dental Technology Department is to provide the students of the Dental Technology Department with the department’s theoretical scientific information, as well as the necessary practical and laboratory training, as well as those concerned with the work of all dental prosthetics and maxillofacial prosthetics within the specialty of the dental industry, as well as keeping pace with the latest scientific and technological developments, it also includes a focus on enhancing skills and experience and scientific education for students via placing students in appropriate positions during summer training.

Goals

1. Graduating a dental technician with a high level of understanding, knowledge and skills related to fixed and removable prosthetics and maxillofacial prosthetics with all pathological conditions. 2. Providing students with the latest skills in the field of dealing with dental equipment and how to maintain them. 3. Raising teaching and administrative efficiency in a manner consistent with international accreditation standards to achieve the department’s vision and mission. 4. Active participating in the renaissance and progress of society by holding scientific symposiums and conferences. 5. Providing academic consultation in the fields of dental technology.
