British Cultural Attaché visits TU to discuss twinning
Al-Turath University College – TUC held a meeting between the attaché of the British Embassy and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Ali Al-Ogaili.
During the meeting, both discussed TUC keenness on academic cultural exchange and twinning work with reputable British universities.
Al-Ogaili stressed the university’s commitment to the principles and solid scientific standards, which allowed it to be the first private university in Iraq to sign a partnership contract with the United Nations, in addition to signing a joint work agreement with UNESCO, as well as the membership of TUC joining the International Union of Universities.
They also discussed that TUC is looking into enhancing cooperation with British universities by negotiating with the British Embassy Attaché on all means of cooperation and scientific partnerships between the two.
In turn, the embassy attaché expressed his happiness in cooperating with TUC, expressing his admiration for the proper steps taken in consolidating scientific and cultural knowledge among its students. He also praised TUC efforts to provide opportunities for scientific and applied communication.
