Department of Anesthesia Techniques
Anesthesia is the management of pain and relief of consciousness to allow a medical procedure to be performed safely and effectively. Anesthesia techniques include several approaches, including general anesthesia, local anesthesia, and Euclidean anesthesia. These techniques require extensive knowledge of physiology and anesthesia, as well as precising technical skills to adjust drug doses and monitor body functions during the surgical procedure.

The department aims at preparing health personnel specialized in anesthesia and intensive care techniques to work in health institutions. The graduate does the following:
1- Preparing the patient before performing the surgery in the operating room.
2- Giving the patient the appropriate doses of anesthesia.
3- Carrying out intensive care tasks for the patient.
4- Operating and maintaining anesthesia devices and equipment.
5- Dealing with anesthetic materials used to anesthetize the patient.
