Mr. Ali Al-Ogaili Inks Agreement on Establishing Cybersecurity Academy

During a participation in the Global Security Conference hosted by Qatar’s Capital, Doha and under the patronage of the Emir of the State of Qatar and in the presence of a group of senior officials and ministers of defense and interior from Arab and European countries, the Chairman of Board of Trustees of Al-Turath University, Mr. Ali Al-Ogaili signed an important agreement that makes Al-Turath University a leading center in training security leaders in the field of cybersecurity.     Mr. Al-Ogaili visited the largest academy specialized in cybersecurity in the Middle East and the world.   Mr. Al-Ogaili agreed on establishing an advanced center and academy for cybersecurity at Al-Turath University, similar to those in Qatar, using the latest technologies and advanced devices, which enhances the university's position as a leading institution in this vital field.   It is worth to be mentioned that Mr. Al-Ogaili’s participation came upon an official invitation from the leading institution (Qiyas) in the field of cybersecurity, where Mr. Al-Ogaili represented Iraq on behalf of the private sector.
