Al-Turath University Welcomes High-Level Delegation of US Embassy in Iraq

During meeting a high-level delegation from the US Embassy in Iraq, headed by the US Cultural Attaché, with the participation of the official of the Office of Academic Cooperation between the United States and the countries of the region and the Coordinator of Foreign Agreements and Education at the US Embassy, Al-Turath University reviewed prospects of academic cooperation between Al-Turath University and major prestigious American universities. Al-Turath University inked a memorandum of understanding aimed at developing advanced graduate programs in various specialties and enhancing communication with the Center for Continuing Education to offer modern and internationally accredited training programs. Al-Turath University demonstrated cooperation in the field of exchanging expertise between Iraq and the United States, paving the way for sending the top students from Al-Turath University to American universities to complete their studies and expand their academic horizons. For their part, the embassy delegation expressed its great admiration for Al-Turath University, as well as praising the advanced infrastructure that the university enjoys and the long academic legacy that enrich higher education in Iraq, which enhances its position as a leading scientific edifice in the region.
