The department was established in 2018 according to the approval of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The department follows the annual system in its studies the twinning system in effect with the corresponding government colleges.
The department accepts graduates of preparatory school in the scientific stream (biological and applied) at the acceptance rates determined by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

 Accrediting a specialized teaching staff in addition to the currently existing teaching staff with academic titles.
 Applying advanced computer programs to combine what the student learns with what can be applied in advanced computer programs to benefit from them after graduation.

Job Description for Graduate of Department of Radiology & Ultrasound

  • familiar with the latest modern and advanced methods and techniques necessary in the field of pathological analyses.
  • • Understanding and conducting laboratory analyses, general chemical tests, and fluid examinations through expansion and depth in the study of basic biological and medical sciences and pathological analyzes in a comprehensive manner and their applications and uses in society from a theoretical, practical and applied perspective to serve the public interest.
  • • Knowledge of laboratory management methods and techniques related to preserving data and preparing the necessary statistics.
  • • Knowledge of professional ethics, how to deal with patients and their privacy, as well as knowledge of human rights principles.
  • • Understanding the principles of human biology, anatomy, and histology as basic medical information, as well as understanding laboratory diagnostics in the field of bacterial diseases, parasites, blood diseases, blood transfusion, clinical immunology, genetics and laboratory equipment techniques.
